一般的に外柵はスチールが多いのですが、電波の跳ね返り（ゴースト）が生じる場合はプラスチックを利用したフェンスを 使用する事もあります。飛行場・電波台・民家（受像機）などがその１例です。
　
このフェンスは北海道滝川市の国道沿いにあります。設置後３５年程度経過しているようです。風雪に耐えた痕があちこちにあります。

樹脂製のフェンスは製造も難しくメーカーは２〜３社のようです。材料費は概ね４〜５万／ｍ程度のようです。（調べてみて下さい。）

２〜３年前、改修工事で取り替えたようです。　　この時のメーカーは現在はもうないようです。
